A l’occasion des Journées du Patrimoine les 17 et 18 Septembre prochain le Château de Canisy ouvre à nouveau ses portes.<br />
<br />
1) La visite du Parc du Chateau<br />
<br />
Le Parc du Château sera entièrement ouvert à la visite gratuite le Samedi et le Dimanche à partir de 10h00,<br />
Samedi soir : la visite libre pourra se dérouler jusqu’à minuit, dans un parc entièrement éclairé et « enchanté » par des musiques différentes selon les parties du parc.<br />

Seront à découvrir ou à redécouvrir :<br />
<br />
-Une exposition de photos d'oiseaux prises dans le parc<br />
- les promenades le long des étangs<br />
<br />
- le jardin botanique<br />
<br />
- la glacière<br />
<br />
- la cressonnière<br />
<br />
- le parc animalier et ses petits nouveaux pensionnaires !….<br />

2) La visite du Château de Canisy<br />
<br />
Samedi 17 Septembre de 14h00 à 18h00 <br />

La visite est gratuite.<br />
<br />
Le public sera accueilli par le personnel du château et son propriétaire, Denis de Kergorlay. <br />
Il est conseillé de se présenter dès l’arrivée à l’accueil où un ticket sera distribué à chaque personne avec indication de son heure de visite.<br />
<br />
Avant la visite proprement dite deux courts-métrages d'une quinzaine de minutes chaque seront proposés aux visiteurs : l'un consiste en un interview du propriétaire et d'amis du château de Canisy, et l'autre d'une présentation par Denis de Kergorlay de l'histoire du château. Chaque visiteur pourra visionner le film de son choix. <br />
Une restauration légère est possible sur place.<br />
L’accès au parc du Château de Canisy se fait à pied. Les voitures peuvent être garées dans les parkings de la commune de Canisy ou dans le champ de la ferme de la Mésnagerie avec une entrée par la route de Saint-Lô (D38), 500 m à droite avant le bourg de Canisy en venant de Candol.<br />

<strong>1) La visite du Parc du Chateau</strong><br />

Le Parc du Château sera entièrement ouvert à la visite gratuite le Samedi et le Dimanche à partir de 10h00.<br />
Samedi soir : la visite libre pourra se dérouler jusqu’à minuit, dans un parc entièrement éclairé et « enchanté » par des musiques différentes selon les parties du parc.<br />

<strong>2) La visite du Château de Canisy</strong><br />
<br />
Samedi 18 Septembre de 14h00 à 18h00 et le Dimanche 19 Septembre de 14h00 à 18h00<br />
<br />
La visite est gratuite.<br />
<br />
Le public sera accueilli par le personnel du château et son propriétaire, Denis de Kergorlay. <br />
L’entretien donne l’occasion au propriétaire de présenter l’histoire de sa famille en relation avec le Château, depuis les époques anciennes à l’époque contemporaine. Il est aussi une réflexion sur le rôle du Patrimoine historique dans la société d’aujourd’hui.<br />

<strong><span style="font-size: large;">Le Salon de Musique</span></strong><br />

Le Salon de Musique du XVIIIe siècle est très représentatif du siècle des lumières, lorsque des récitals étaient donnés en présence d’invités de marque et de membres de la famille. Beaucoup de peintures du XVIIIe siècle représentent ces moments de grâce de la vie sociale et mondaine des châteaux.<br />

Nous avons redonné vie à cette tradition, et depuis des années à Canisy une grande partie du répertoire classique a été magnifiquement joué par des artistes de premier plan, dans une atmosphère plus conforme à notre temps, c'est-à-dire plus décontractée et chaleureuse. Les musiciens et leur public partagent alors des moments magiques, et les concerts de Canisy tiennent une grande place dans l’imaginaire de ceux qui ont séjourné à Canisy. <br />

The 18th century Music Room very well represents The Enlightenment, when recitals were given for notable guests and family members. Many 18th century paintings represent these gracious moments of social and daily castle life.<br />

We've given new life to this tradition, and over many years at Canisy a large part of the classical repertoire has been played by renowned artists, in an atmosphere more suitable for our time, more relaxed and warm.
